Social Butterfly was founded by Irene L. Geraghty who is a Professional    Bridal    Consultant and Coordinator.    She   is currently a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) as well as the Association for Wedding Professionals International (AfWPI).   ABC is the largest association of its kind   in   the   world and members are required to maintain continuing   levels of education in the field.   AfWPI is an international   organization   dedicated   to   providing quality services and a central source of information. Members receive benefits through networking and discounted services. Both of these organizations require its members to agree to and abide by a set code of ethics.

Irene is a distinguished graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a   degree in   Psychology.   Prior to starting her business, she spent over ten years in the corporate world in event     planning.      Those    years    were    instrumental    in understanding the mechanics   of planning and implementing large events, as well as gaining an appreciation for the stress involved in hosting events.   Weddings became a highlighted interest about six years ago when Irene coordinated a friend’s wedding and she has continued in this area since.

Irene   is   dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality, professionalism, service and integrity.   Between her degree and experience, Irene’s role can be that of an advisor, budget analyst, liaison and crisis manager.   It all requires professionalism, experience, attention to detail and the ability to tastefully implement your ideas.
